Golden Wishes: A Purr-fect Day Out for Audrey

As part of our Golden Wishes campaign, Audrey from Magnolia House shared with our Wellbeing Coordinator, Amy, just how much she missed having cats in her life, having always kept them over the years.

Amy knew just the place to bring a smile to Audrey’s face — a specialist cat café in York, where guests can enjoy a warm drink and a slice of cake in the company of cats of all breeds and sizes.

The visit was a huge success. You could see from the beaming smile on Audrey’s face that she was truly in her element, completely relaxed and surrounded by furry friends.

After the café visit, we took the opportunity to wander through the beautiful streets of York, soaking up the sights and enjoying a little retail therapy along the way.

“It was so lovely to share such a special day with Audrey,” said Amy. “Seeing her so happy made it unforgettable.”
